This autumn comes loaded with new products that will inspire us when it comes to make-up. These are the proposals that beauty brands are revealing.

Dark red is back as a key colour for the lips, the new Smoking for the eyes, washed mascara and natural make-up highlighting the eye with Liquid Eyeliner for the upper eyelid while we tint the inner lashes to sophisticate the look. Crystal embellishments will decorate your face. The shiny and metallic shades come into their own if you want to add a more sophisticated touch.

YSL: the intense red on the lips and the new Smoking eyes.

Yves Saint Laurent launches The Slim Velvet Radical (38,50€) with 12 new matte shades for the lips. The chromatic palette offered is the result of an intense search for shades and materials to give an innovative touch to its products. The original The Slim lipsticks were very well received, so YSL wanted to continue with the intense matte red with a velvety touch. Giving comfort, elegance and delicacy.

The firm’s laboratories have selected the elements that make up the formula to give the best. It contains high levels of pigmentation, to give intense colour in just one coat, oils to moisturise and leave lips soft, and hemispherical fillers to give a semi-matte velvet effect.

For the eyes, YSL presents the new Le Smokey Eye collection, consisting of couture eye shadows, high-precision eyeliner and the ideal mascara.

Smokey Eye is the new smoking eye. Here are my three tips. First, apply mascara from the root of the lashes to the tip, trying to lift them. Next, liquid eyeliner will highlight your eyes, giving them a real impact. Finish with eye shadow. – Tom Pecheux, designer of the new YSL collection.

Chrushliner Waterproof Liner (€28) are the eyerliners of the collection. Ten pencils in different shades with an intense yet creamy texture. Their formula is enriched with natural phyto-pigments, and their colours are long-lasting thanks to their waterproof technology. For eye shadows, we have Velvet Crush (€36.50) in four new colours and two different finishes; velvet matte or laminated metallic. There’s also Couture Color Clutch Palette Saharienne (€100), personalised palettes in bold nude and earth tones.

Le Smokey Eye, new collection for the eyes

      

The mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils (37,10€) is a great ally for make-up as it provides a sensual and voluptuous finish, as well as conveying an intense look. We can choose between the three models launched, The Culer, which will curl our lashes covering them in black, the classic edition which will give volume and hold for 24 hours, and Radical, which provides a darker result.

Chanel: Highlighted eyes and natural complexion

Chanel kicks off autumn with the Collection Tone-On-Tone, which consists of three products: Ombre Première Laque liquid eye shadow (€34), Stylo Ombre Et Contour eyeliner (€32) and Le Vernis nail lacquer (€27). This collection is divided into four shades: Khaki Harmony, where brown is the main element and is accompanied by bronze highlights. Silver Grey Harmony, Red Brown Harmony, which is accompanied by maroon, a touch of metallic purple and chocolate red nails. And Champagne Harmony, which turns an electrifying terracotta look with metallic ivory.

Chanel Tone-On-Tone Autumn-Winter Collection

On the occasion of the new fashion shows for this autumn season 2021, Chanel has shown the latest trends in cosmetics. In them, we can see very marked eyes with intense black colour, light lips and a very natural face. To start the looks, Les Beiges Poudre (50€) leaves a radiant and very natural complexion, to complement it you can also use Ultra Le Teint (56€) a compact foundation with a luminous matte finish that combines coverage and comfort. Its powdery texture is very fine, so it blends delicately into the skin. Les 4 Ombres (€55), eyeshadows that offer a clear, luminous and homogeneous result. The shades offered have a variety of trendy effects: matte, satin, iridescent and metallic.

The perfect brow finish is something that has become more and more popular in recent years. Stylo Sourcils Waterproof (€39) is one of Chanel’s latest pencils, retractable with two ends that leaves very defined eyebrows. Its application is very simple, just comb the eyebrows upwards and draw the line of the eyebrows with a fine line. Use the flat part of the pencil to fill in uneven areas and intensify the colour. To complement them, you can also use Le Gel Sourcils (€35), a fixing gel that densifies them thanks to its fibres.

The Le Crayon Khol pencil (€25) intensifies the eyes. Stylo Yeux Waterproof(27€) is one of the new eye pencils from Chanel. Its line is resistant to water, humidity and sebum, and its retractable lead makes it easy to apply. Its formation of various waxes and film-forming agents provides a soft and comfortable formula. In addition, it is created in detail, and its make-up removal is very simple and quick. Chanel recommends two types of use, on the one hand, if you want a natural look just draw a thin line at the top base of the eyelashes. For a more sophisticated look, this small line should be intensified.

La Base Ombre À Paupières (€31), the perfect product for the eyelids, which unifies and smoothes the area. Its fresh and light gel texture adds and accentuates luminosity and intensity. Finally, the Rouge Coco Baume lipstick (€36) not only has the function of adding shine to the lips, its main function is to moisturise. Its formula is enriched with natural esters, Meadowfoam oils to protect and moisturise for 8 hours, and phytoceramics that smooth the lips.

Guerlain:  Intense reds with high pigmentation

French house Guerlain has launched the Rouge G Luxurious Velvet collection (69€ lipstick with its case). Lipsticks with reddish, powerful and elegant shades in matte and velvet. This exclusive formula comes in 15 different shades, and with six reused shells dressed in the fabrics of Parisian garments; tartan, tweed, chevron stripe, etc. Among the most trendy colours are Ruby Red, Flame Red, Burgundy Red and Black Red, leaving the lips with a sensual, sophisticated and characterful look.

Rouge G Luxurious Velvet is composed of nourishing mango butter and mattifying silk wood extract. In addition, it is highly pigmented and ensures 16 hours of intense colour on the lips. As for the lipstick, it comes in a new bullet shape, with a rounded base and a pointed tip that ensures a precise line.

The six new casings are reused and always elegantly presented.

As mentioned above, the new collection is dressed in fabrics featuring the main patterns of Parisian style with a velvety touch. In addition, in order to promote recycling and ethical fashion, the cases themselves have been reused, using those from last year. From the house itself, they believe that nothing is lost, and everything has a new use.

Givenchy: Refillable formats

Le Rouge Sheer Velvet (€36) is the new lipstick from Givenchy, a new interpretation in blended matte textures that reaffirms the brand’s position. This new formula allows the lips to be moisturised for 24 hours, and 12 hours of duration and comfort with an ultra-light and sensorial effect. This lip collection is composed of eleven different shades, from nude and pink to the most vibrant red. The four most popular shades are available in refillable format, as the Parisian firm is committed to environmental well-being.

Its ingredients are composed of 100% wild mango butter extract of natural origin, and rich in vitamin E. In addition, for the first time, two types of emollient oils have been combined to create a corrective effect. In this way, its finish leaves a smooth and perfectly integrated appearance.

Le 9 Collection, the new eyeshadow palettes

As for new eyeshadows, Le 9 (63,50€) is the new palette of 9 intense, versatile and sophisticated colours. Inspired by the new season and the trends that will be worn this autumn, the product contains four different finishes: matte, satin, shiny and metallic. Its application is very simple, and it is perfect for women who are new to make-up or those who want to create a sophisticated and elegant look. Its formula has less talc and more pigment, offering an exceptional glide thanks to its texture, in addition, we have 12 hours of guaranteed colour without losing intensity.

Balmain: Eyes as an elementary point

The look is something that captivates us without exchanging words, this season, natural make-up is in trend, there is no need to cover our face in excess, but the eyes are still an elemental point. From Balmain we find the perfect products for them.

To complement an elegant and perfect finish, the Lash Paradise mascara (11.95) will give an intense volume as soon as the product touches us. Its formula has been revamped and enriched with castor oil, and its straight, wavy brush makes it suitable for even the most sensitive eyes.

Lancôme: Gala products

Glamour walks the red carpet, and this year, Lancôme was present at La Mostra de Venecia, the film festival where Penélope Cruz won Best Actress for Madres Paralelas. The Palacio del Cine del Lido was the venue for the opening, and the actress put herself in the hands of her personal make-up artist, Pablo Iglesias, who used products from the French firm to make her look perfect.

To prepare the skin before applying make-up, it’s good to apply a few drops of serum such as Advanced Génifique (€117), which provides radiance and hydration. The foundation used was Teint Idole Ultra Wear (€44), which leaves the face unified, and is also high coverage, long-wearing and has a natural matte finish, which is in high demand right now. To complement the skin, Belle de Teint powder (€48.50) and Cushion Subtil blush (€44) were chosen to show off a soft, yet vibrant complexion.

For the eyes, four products were applied. On the one hand, Grandiose Liner (€38.50), a high-precision eyeliner with an intense matte finish. To complement it, Le Crayon Khol (€24.50) was the second pencil to define and outline the eyes. For shading, Hypnose Palette 5 Couleurs (€58.50) gave you the best combination with the harmonies 11 Terre de Sienne and 12 Rose Fusion. And for perfect lashes, the new Hypnose L’Absolu de Noir Mascara (€35.50) offers a captivating khol effect, with an intense finish, giving lashes great volume.

Finally, the lips were the stars of the look, a subtle lip liner was applied with Le Lip Liner (€27.50), waterproof with a brush in shade 265 Portelle. And the master touch was with L’Absolue Rouge Drama Matte Lipstick (€37.50) in shade 508 Purple Temptation.

M.A.C: Electric colours and crystal ornaments for the face

MAC launched its new collections showcasing the latest products that are going to be the most on-trend this season. The Canadian line has chosen different looks to show them to the world with the Be Feel Love campaign, and in them we find lots of colour, life and brightness. Among them we find the style worn by Laurinda, starting with the Studio Radiance Face & Body Radiant Sheer Foundation (35,50€). With it we perfect any skin type with all the shades they offer. For setting and mattifying the Fix-Mate (23€) is perfect, it also controls shine and oiliness of the skin.

For the eyes, the pink shade from Art Library in IT’s Designer Palette (55€) was used to create the cat-eye shape, and mixing the colours, in this case with blue, completes a brighter look. For lashes, Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash mascara (€27) creates a voluminous, curling finish. For the lips, the Glow Play Lip Balm (20€), a new glow that softens and moisturises thanks to its nourishing blend of shea butter, jojoba seed and mango seed oils.

Another look is Fleur, starting with Studio Fix Fluid foundation (€35.50) with a 159S brush. For the eyelids, use the Art Library Palette, applying any colour you want, in this case yellow, from the inner corner, orange in the centre and pink in the outer corners. All of this can be easily blurred, leaving a uniform finish. With Eye Kohl Eyeliner (€21.50) you can shape the eye, leaving a soft, silky feel.

In any way you like, you can line lips with the Lip Pencil (€20), which has a smooth texture and is quick to apply. To finish it off perfectly, add a layer of Lipglass Clear for shine (€21.50), leaving a glass-like finish.

Singer Rosalía will launch a new make-up collection with MAC in October.

As a novelty, this October MAC will launch the new collection Aute Cuture in collaboration with Rosalía. The Catalan singer has participated in its creation, inspired by fashion and style, choosing the most fashionable colours for this autumn. Although the characteristics of each product are not yet known in detail, we know that there will be a range of lipsticks, with different shades of red, something that characterises the artist. There will also be an eyeshadow palette, liquid powder highlighter, among other things. The entire collection will be available on 1 October from MAC, and from 4 October, all products on sale in Spain will be available.
