The British artists Mary and Stella McCartney have joined forces with the prestigious luxury whisky distillery, The Macallan, to bring to life a limited edition. This release represents the third installment of The Macallan’s coveted Harmony Collection.
This exclusive edition is characterized by its focus on the use of natural and recycled materials. The McCartney sisters are examples of sustainable practices, and they share a special connection with the Scottish lands, as they have memories of their summer days in the fields of the family farm. The Essence of Scotland in a Sip
Inspired by the family farm High Park, where they enjoyed since childhood, they have focused their attention on the essence of the land. In this way, Amber Meadow and Green Meadow are presented, an expression that transports whisky enthusiasts to Scotland’s natural meadows. The memory of the warm colors provided by the barley fields, and that transformation to amber, provided by the sun’s rays, is reflected in the color of the Amber bottle. Meanwhile, the second whisky, with green tones, reflects the countryside of the area.

Each bottle of the collection recalls unique moments and times. Amber Meadow transports tasters to a summer night with citrus nuances, thanks to sherry-seasoned oak barrels and bourbon barrels, vanilla, coconut, and natural barley. On the palate, notes of oak, lemon, melon, traditional sweet pastries, almonds, and green tea can be appreciated. As for Green Meadow, it represents spring, with scents of wild primrose, sweet melon, and bluebells.

Additionally, the collaboration has led to the creation of Together, a special edition collection of 11 lifestyle pieces. The collection features handmade pieces including a lamb’s wool blanket, glassware with natural minerals, a flask, three bowls, and six ceramic coasters. It also includes a pair of brass ice stamps and an acorn-shaped napkin ring. The collection will be available from October 15th to November 15th, 2023, priced at 184 euros per bottle.
