On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of “Firenze hometown of Fashion”, the Italian luxury footwear brand of designer Edgardo Osorio opens its first store in the left wing of the iconic Palazzo Corsini in Florence.

Palazzo Corsini was built in the 15th century and bought in 1649 by Maria Macchiavelli from Ferdinando II de Medici, and is located in the heart of Florence, near the Ponte Vecchio.

Interior designers Claudia and Catarina Soares Pereira designed the space, an original structure with a luxurious contemporary design. The store is divided into two main spaces, the front door design features a graphic entrance that combines marble with the sharp lines and clean strokes of black and white stripes in juxtaposition with high quality fabrics and materials. It features exquisite decor with Murano vintage chandeliers, vibrantly colored furniture, hand-woven rugs, metallic display cases, green velvet sofas and cerulean blue silk pillows.
Aquazzura’s shoe collection is displayed on glass displays specially designed to blend in with the Palazzo’s historic structure.
