The tenth edition of the Cash&Rocket Tour kicks off in Barcelona
Cash & Rocket, the community of women created by Julie Bransgstrup in 2012, is once again organising the organisation’s flagship event: the Cash & Rocket Tour. The common goal of raising awareness and bringing substantial change to society is what has united 80 women from all over the world in this tour, which celebrates its 10th edition this year. Through initiatives like this, Cash & Rocket aims to improve the lives of women and children from disadvantaged backgrounds around the world.

The Cash & Rocket Tour starts in Barcelona and ends in Florence, covering 1336 km. For the first time, all participating cars are electric or hybrid, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to creating a more sustainable future for our planet. Since its inaugural tour in 2012, Cash & Rocket has raised more than €6 million, all of which has been donated to NGOs. This year, the funds will go to Sumbandila, Red Cross Spain and Helen Bamber Foundation.
The chosen NGOs always aim to help women and children in hostile situations. Sumbandila is an organisation that provides university scholarships to children in Limpopo, South Africa. Cruz Roja España supports and promotes the education of children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Barcelona. And finally, the Helen Bamber Foundation, chaired by actress Emma Thompson, provides care for refugees who have suffered extreme cruelty, such as human trafficking, forced labour or gender-based violence.

And from across the pond come model Arizona Muse and entrepreneur and influencer Rachel Zeilic. In past editions, other well-known figures from the world of film, art, sports and fashion have also taken part in the Cash & Rocket Tour, such as Nieves Álvarez, Amy Jackson and Ashley Graham.
In its tenth edition, 40 cars, all in red, have been deployed in Barcelona’s Port Vell. The tour starts in Barcelona, crosses the French Provence and on Saturday 11 will arrive in Milan to finish the following day in Florence.
