After six long years in the making, the documentary of Steve McCurry’s extraordinary life, “McCurry: The Pursuit of Colour”, is released. Documenting the extraordinary career and featuring the iconic photographer’s travels around the world with Silversea.

From 3 June, the Spanish premiere of McCurry: The Pursuit of Colour, a very intimate portrait, for all audiences, of the photographer Steve McCurry, one of the most celebrated visual storytellers of our time and Silversea’s ambassador for over six years.

Viewers will be able to see new facets of Steve McCurry, which until now had not been so well known to the general public; from his childhood, his travels, his home in New York or his family life and reflects on those crucial moments in his life.

Steve captures the souls of people to capture authenticity in its rawest form as he travels through war-torn countries, disappearing cultures, many ancient traditions and contemporary culture, but always retains the human element that made his image of that Afghan girl, Sharbat Gula, who was on the cover of National Geographic in 1985 so famous.
