Perhaps the most typical islands are Santorini and Mykonos…. But they are so spectacular that it is a must visit them!
This post is dedicated to one of the most romantic hotels we have ever visited, and is where we stayed during our stay in Mykonos: The Hotel San Giorgio. Judge for yourselves:
It is a dream hotel!
This small hotel is located 10 minutes from the airport between Paradise and Paraga beaches.
It has 33 rooms, of which two are suites, divided into three types: Basic, Mare and Veranda. The latter has a small terrace with a hammock to relax in.
A curious fact about the rooms, is that none of them have television in it, which surprised us much, but at reception they informed us that if you need it they will install it in a moment. Recommendation; enjoy a real vacation without any distractions.
The hotel has a swimming pool and a small private beach that allows you to relax without suffering the crowds that some beaches experience.
If the food in Greece is spectacularly good and healthy, you can’t miss the opportunity to eat at the Cantina (hotel restaurant) where Mediterranean, organic and locally grown dishes are served. An authentic gastronomic experience!
Finally, we cannot forget that Mykonos is the island with more nightlife of all, so very close to the hotel we find Paradise Club, one of the most prestigious discotheques of the island and in which all the guests of the hotel have special benefits.
