Salvatore Ferragamo celebrates the opening of its new concept store in Soho, New York. With the first NFT collaboration, a customised trainer hologram programme and a limited edition capsule collection
In the heart of the Soho district, at 63 Greene Street, is the Concept Store by Salvatore Ferragamo. The 240-square-metre space welcomes customers into an immersive and immersive shopping experience. The shop celebrates the thriving downtown New York community by launching the Hologram Sneaker trainer customisation tool. In addition, it also includes an NFT Reverse Booth to create your own digital artwork. The house has partnered with New York digital artist Shxpir for this new NFT installation and a limited-edition capsule collection: a T-shirt and sweatshirt with an exclusive graphic print.
Designed by DE-YAN studio as a multi-sensory mirrored space, the Ferragamo Soho Concept Store offers an experience that combines the worlds of Web3 and in-person retail. Visitors cancreate their own artwork on NFT through the shop’s technology. They can choose from a selection of backgrounds designed by Shxpir as they are captured by a high-spec camera to mint their unique artwork – limited to 256 individual NFTs – on Ethereum Blockchain via OpenSea.
The artistic collaboration between Ferragamo and Shxpir also inspires the limited edition T-shirt and sweatshirt launched during Pride Month. All proceeds will be donated to The Center, one of New York City’s oldest and most prominent LGBTQ+ organisations.
Hologram Sneaker, personalise your trainers digitally.
The Ferragamo Soho Concept Store has also launched a hologram programme where customers can design a fully customised version of the unisex 6R3ENE trainer, choosing from a wide range of colours and details. Exclusive to this shop, the sneaker reinvents the Salvatore Ferragamo house codes. Top-quality materials combine with unrivalled craftsmanship; it is made from ECONYL, a 100% regenerated fibre made from fishing nets and nylon waste. It also has a microgroma sole and a sewing thread made from 100% recycled polyester.
