The Pacha Ibiza Shop x Kids Of Broken Future collection, an example of the brands commitment to create in a sustainable way.
This year marked the 50th anniversary of the opening of one of the most iconic entertainment venues in Spain, Pacha Ibiza.
A pioneering club that was created in Ibiza in the 70s, when the island became a haven for those seeking to escape from social conventions. However, the first Pacha discotheque was inaugurated a few years earlier, in 1967, in Sitges, by the hands of Ricardo Urgell.
It was his second venue, the Ibizan, which achieved the great international recognition that he still enjoys today. That great success allowed Urgell to create hotels, beach clubs, restaurants and a fashion brand with the same name Pacha Ibiza Shop.
Pacha, a term used in the old Ottoman Empire for men with authority in the army or in a region. A way of referring to someone of importance, from there also comes the expression“living like a pacha”.
In its beginnings, Pacha Shop started as a small store in the port of Ibiza. With unique and avant-garde clothing and accessories. Over the years, the brand expanded to become a representation of the Ibizan cultural movement.
Pacha x KIDSOFBROKENFUTURE
One of their most outstanding collaborations is Pacha x KOBF A brand created by designer Marta Sánchez that began as a final year project and has resulted in a sustainable collection for women and men.
KIDSOFBROKENFUTURE was born to get out of the present and create a movement that would interpret the society or the young people of 2050 and as the results of the research on our future were not very favorable, they focused on creating a change in the industry and set an example by manufacturing with organic cotton or recycled plastic nylon. The packagings are recycled and customized, the collection is produced in Portugal.
A brand project that has become a reality, with a style focused on streetwear and that drinks from the skate and hip hop scene. In addition, it is committed tosustainable fashion under the slogan of #proearthmovement (Pro-Earth Movement).
The result is a fusion of the heritage and history of Pacha, with the contemporary style of Kids Of Broken Future. A collection created with organic fabrics. An offer of sustainable garments for men and women that bring a touch of color to the simplicity of Balearic style.
Through its own foundation, Pacha Foundation, the brand has been committed for years to carrying out projects to “contribute to achieving objectives in social, cultural, artistic and environmental areas“. This collaboration is a reflection of that commitment to sustainability and the environment.
Pacha X Pompeii
Among its latest novelties we find the capsule collection with the Spanish brand Pompeii. Hissoccer jersey became one of his best-selling garments. Inspired by the bloke core concept, a micro-trend based on incorporating sportswear into your daily outfits. Dare to create looks combining the formal with the informal..
