Encore by Óscar de la Renta, a second-hand platform, will offer for sale 31 vintage dresses worn by actresses.
Those who have dreamed of having Carrie Bradshaw’s wardrobe in Sex and The City, will have the chance to make their wishes come true. Óscar de la Renta will be selling the vintage dresses worn by Sarah Jessica Parker herself in Sex and the City and the recently released sequel And Just Like That.The dresses will be sold through the Encore platform, launched by the brand last year.

With this initiative, it encourages reuse and sustainability giving a second life to the dresses of the series. The specialised resale business platform Archive will be in charge of managing the logistics and payments of the digital platform.
The second release of the Oscar de la Renta collection will consist of a lot of 31 iconic dresses and 15 pieces of DKF jewellery. The first batch of dresses went on sale in November and consisted of 40 pieces.

We don’t have a date yet, but we know it will be in the next few months when Encore will organise the auction of the garments. The dresses that will be available for purchase have been worn by actresses such as Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City and other celebrities on red carpets or at the Met Gala.
Encore by Óscar de la Renta has raised its total funding to $100 million thanks to a recent injection of $80 million. The investors include Oscar de la Renta CEO Alex Bolen and the founders of trainer company Allbirds, eyewear brand Warby Parker and textile firm Harry’s, according to Expansión.
