What is an organic garden?
An ecological garden is a piece of land cultivated with fruits, vegetables, legumes, greens, and plants while adhering to the natural processes of the products we plant. No chemical or artificial products are used. Natural fertilizers like compost, manure, or leaf soil are used to fertilize the soil. Organic pesticides are used. All of this is to minimize the contamination of our food.
We are experiencing an urgent need to reconnect with nature; increasingly, we feel that the products we consume are genetically manipulated. Everything seems wonderful, yet beneath the surface lies a thread of deception, a comparison that can be extrapolated to different areas of life…
And that’s why the ‘real,’ the authentic, the good, what tastes good, is fashionable. The tomato that tastes and smells like a tomato, free-range eggs, flavorful apples, simple cooking appreciating the flavors of the product… all this, which is natural, is expensive and not always easy to find.
That’s why more and more of us are looking for our own garden, on the terrace at home, on the kitchen windowsill… pots of mint, basil… a few cherry tomatoes and the excitement of picking them fresh for the dish we are preparing.
In the past, gardens were for families who had trouble supplying themselves; today it’s a stress-relief trend that helps you connect with the earth, the countryside, oxygen, and nature… What is actually necessary for humans in addition to eating healthy and saving.
For those who have no interest in cultivating, there are seasonal organic fruit and vegetable baskets that take you directly from the land to your home, a fantastic option. I have consumed this type of basket for a long time, and it’s a pleasure to know that you are contributing to and consuming health.
There is a spectacular growth in proposals and alternatives to good nutrition, to being able to cultivate, to exchange, and learn with these activities a myriad of healthy things. Proposals that encompass health, nature, connection, returning to the earth, and understanding that we get what we need from it to be healthy. And taking care of it is basic, reeducating ourselves and understanding that a healthy land is a healthy life.
These projects propose: carrying out leisure activities, environmental education, reclaiming spaces, improving sustainability, improving social relationships and integration, reconnecting with nature…
Here are even those who set up the garden at home, on the terrace, or in the kitchen and teach you how to maintain it: Tresbolillo.com

All these alternatives to the industrial are a clear indication of a trend towards the natural, towards essence.
A big kiss from Madrid and let’s consume health!
