The idea of rivalry between brands has become obsolete. Collaborations are increasingly present in fashion and advertising. They are the key to opening doors to new audiences, exploring new aesthetics and reinforcing weak points. These are just 8 of the latest new collaborations between brands, designers and artists:
Dr. Martins x Marc Jacobs
The British punk influence of Dr. Martins has attracted Marc Jacobs collaborating with a limited edition Vegan 1460 boots in cherry color.
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of this legendary brand, they have created for the first time a vegan boot from The 1460 Remastered. collection.
The boots are covered with chains full of charms, which are replicas of objects from the designer’s own collection.
This model was born on 1/04/60 hence its name The 1460 Remastered which has become a classic for six decades.
Adidas x Prada
Adidas is one of the sports brands that most relies on luxury. It maintains a stable alliance with Yeezy and Stella McCartney and, last year alone, launched collections with brands such as Alexander Wang or Raf Simons. Also with Prada, with which it now repeats its collaboration to revisit one of its bestsellers: the Superstar sneakers.
The Superstar Adidas x Prada will be available in three versions: one in black and white, one silver and white and one completely black.
Thomas Sabo x Rita Ora
Many fashion and jewelry brands find in musicians or actors the perfect image to express their brand. Rita Ora repeats as ambassador of the Thomas Sabo women’s collection. Together they present the new fall/winter 2020 collection, made up of rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets inspired by nature and the symbolism of the myth of the snake and the apple.
Fashion is constantly changing its face. That’s what keeps it so current and so fascinating. It’s one of the things I love most about jewelry. I’m always finding new ways to experiment and enjoy them, says Rita Ora.
Thomas Sabo X David Garrett
Famed violinist David Garrett teams up this fall 2020 with Thomas Sabo for the Revel at heart.collection.
The musician wears the blackened 925 sterling silver creations with personality.
My connection with THOMAS SABO is an otherworldly one that has grown both professionally and personally over the years. That’s why I’m so happy to be working with him again, of course. Rebel at heart jewelry accompanies me on a daily basis and matches my taste perfectly because it is versatile, bold, extravagant and allows me to vary my style, he argues. David Garrett
IKKS X YUJ
Taking advantage of the return to the routine, to work and to the gym subscription, IKKS has launched its first yoga line in collaboration with the brand YUJ Paris. YUJ Paris brings technicality and ethical manufacturing with Oeko-Tex certification.
The capsule collection consists of 9 garments: two sets of leggings and top, a T-shirt, two sweatshirts and two tank tops. The design is faithful to the hallmarks of IKKS: its iconic micro-leopard print, metallics, lurex… The collection is available in stores IKKS and on its website from September 12, 2020.
Camper Lab x Achilles Ion Gabriel
Camper signed Finnish designer Achilles Ion Gabriel in June 2019 as the new creative director of its most avant-garde line: Camper Lab. The autumn-winter 2020 is the first under the direction of Ion Gabriel. The purpose remains the same: to underline and reinvent the brand’s aesthetic and explore the Camper universe in search of new forms of design.
Rei Kawakubo, founder of Comme des Garçons, described the collaborations a few years ago: “We are sharing space, but no one is losing their identity. If anything, what each of us does is accentuated in some way. The result can only be positive.
Desigual X Christian Lacroix

In addition, the brand has announced that The Marc Jacobs will have more collaborations. One of them will be a capsule collection of hats with British designer Stephen Jones. Another, more curious, will be with film director Sofia Coppola.
At the time she was a visionary, but now, coworking in luxury is here to stay, with new collaborations every season.
