On 26 May in Barcelona, the foundation Montblanc de la Culture awarded the Sergi Ferrer-Salat, president of the music foundation Ferrer-Salat since 1998, with the Montblanc de la culture 2015 award.
The award, worth 15,000 euros and a limited edition Luciano Pavarotti fountain pen, is in recognition of his patronage value through his commitment to music education at the Conservatori del Liceu.
Sergi Ferrer-Salat has consolidated the Reina Sofia award for musical composition: the foundation’s unique and main activity in its origins, as a highly prestigious award at a national and international level.
In addition, it has increased the foundation’s scope of action, encompassing new initiatives to promote and disseminate music.
An exciting and heartfelt ceremony, where the love for art and the importance of music in the lives of human beings has triumphed.
