Just 400 metres from the Poniente beach, the Mercure Benidorm hotel welcomes you to Valencia. The new complex invites you to immerse yourself in the local culture to the sound of the Mediterranean Sea. This year, the Costa Blanca has been the perfect place to host the first Mercure Hotel in the Valencian Community, between sand and sea.

The hotel lobby has a small desk where the reception team check in with an iPad so that guests can make themselves comfortable.

Inspired by the waters that surround its coastline, and next to the Levante, this hotel opening invites travellers to connect culture and tradition. Since opening its doors in June, visitors can enjoy the work of the artist Jorge Parra, which he has left impregnated in different elements inside the building. From tracings on the walls to representations on the vases, conveying the history of the region.

Mercure Benidorm has settled in a city known for its tourism. But it hides many gastronomic and cultural secrets for those who have not been there before. Thus, the hotel is thestarting point for exploring everything there is to discover..

Minimalism, sustainability and kilometre zero

The Mercure Benidorm hotel is characterised by its union with the land in which it is located. In this case, it pays homage to the Mediterranean coast with its traditional cuisine. It promotes the use of fresh food, homemade and sustainable.

It also has an organic vegetable garden. This contact with local suppliers favours the small business, offering travellers the best delicacies on the table.

From the best brasas to the exquisiteness of the cocktail bar. Playing with the flavours of local paellas, Mediterranean salads the fish from the fish market  to make visitors fall in love.

The Malaspina restaurant is responsible for offering a variety of high quality dishes. In addition to exploiting the flavours through its cocktail bar.

The minimalism resides within each of the rooms, inspired by the studio BURONDO. There are different types of categories to choose from, including Standard, Privilege, Deluxe and Suites rooms. In addition, Mercure Benidorm is equipped with three meeting and event rooms. As well as a garden with a heated swimming pool with treated salt water to relax in all year round. You can also enjoy the massage service on request.

All rooms have a terrace with a table and two sun loungers.

The landscape designer Álvaro Sampedro has been in charge of creating a special garden with tall trees, palms and vegetation surrounding the large swimming pool. Go outside and enjoy the warm climate of the region. Afterwards, you will be immersed in a environment full of life that springs from the earth.

There areyoga classes every Saturday from 10.00-11.00h. It is free for hotel guests, but guests from outside the hotel can come for a cost of 15 euros, which also includes breakfast.

Pets are allowed at an additional cost of 30€ per accommodation, per night and as an extra, food and water bowls are provided.

Programme of cultural activities

They have different “Discover Local” activities available for the clients such as visits to local wineries, chocolate factory, craft beer tasting, inland villages with much to tell such as Guadales, Polop de la Marina, Gata, Alcoi, Villajoyosa, etc….
