One of the most important accessories to successfully complete any look are the bags. Big brands like Loewe, Balmain or Christian Dior launch their new creations inspired by beauty, sophistication and the modern woman. We present the bag trends that will triumph this autumn-winter 2022 season.

Christian Dior relaunches two of its iconic bags

The Christian Dior brand has some of the most iconic bag models, such as the Lady Dior or the Saddle Bag. This fall, the Maison wants to transform and renew itself through two bags that will become the must-have of the season.

The brand launches, first of all, the Dior Essential. A reinterpretation of the tote model available in small, medium or large sizes. The bag is designed through structured lines enhanced by the archicannage motif, made with textured leather combined with a subtle sheen. The padding is made with high-frequency memory foam and the model is topped with a leather handle and chain.

Dior Essential in beige – Dior Book Tote – Dior Essential small size in black

Finally, Dior together with Maria Grazia Chiuri launched the classic Dior Book Tote with a meticulously embroidered pattern of plants, flowers and birds. This bag is an ode to craftsmanship and art, two concepts that have accompanied the philosophy of the Maison since its inception.

Louis Vuitton crosses gender lines in new creation

The luxury brand Louis Vuitton presents its new Coussin handbag model. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière has been in charge of molding and designing this accessory, which crosses the lines between feminine and masculine, positioning itself in an area that blurs gender.

The Coussin, made of lambskin, evokes different feelings and sensations, from a comforting and comfortable bag to a striking and groundbreaking accessory. It contains multiple padded compartments and the option to unhook its geometric-shaped chain to carry the bag cross-body, on the shoulder or under the arm. It is available in metallic tones or in stronger and more striking colors, perfectly combining elegance and personality.

The Louis Vuitton Coussin bag is available in various shades and styles, all maintaining the essence of modernity and comfort.

Loewe advocates femininity in its revamped handbags

This season, Loewe reinvents its bags and accessories with new shapes and colors. In a conceptual approach, the brand highlights the finishes and craftsmanship of its creations.

Flamenco and Goya bags are transformed into Puffers with a lambskin nappa leather body, filled with natural goose feathers and finished with an anagram closure to give a quilted effect.

The Puzzle bag, made with satin calfskin and solid hardware, are presented in pure solid colors, highlighting the finishes and shapes. They eliminate excess decoration to focus on the idea. We see it in shades such as green, plum, aquamarine, black, pecan, orange and diving blue. The Hammock and Bracelet bags also use a single color, which allows all the attention to be focused on the shape and silhouette of the accessories.

The Goya bag, inspired by jewelry, is transformed into the Puffer Goya. Made from lambskin, it has now been stuffed with natural goose feathers and finished off with a gold anagram closure to give it a quilted effect. It is available in green, black, brown, camel and plum. The Flamenco bag and the Puzzle Hobo also have a puffer version.

Weekend Max Mara offers its most timeless new creation

Weekend Max Mara launches its new project: the iconic Pasticcino bag, which supports excellence and artisanal traditions. Its name, which comes from the Italian word meaning “little cake”, pays homage to its sweet nature and strong personality. The clutch has many variations, although all are characterized by the classic ball closure.

The new Weekend Max Mara campaign shows us the different versions of the Pasticcino bag model Venezia.

At the moment, the brand has presented the Pasticcino Venezia model, made with Fortuny textiles and colorful glass beads made in Murano, a small island in the lagoon of Venice known for its elegance, technique and creativity. It is made from three different cottons and comes in metallic fabrics with soft gold and copper details in ivory and blue, lavender and deep red on cream and a print in a mix of green and beige.

Cartier presents its wildest handbag

The new creation by Cartier offers a harmonious bag with a rounded shape without edges or seams that creates an illusion of consonance, flexibility and volume. The Panthère bag is made of grained leather and is available in small or mini size. Its color palette brings brightness and diversity with colors such as black, petrol blue, pale yellow or red.

The panther is the Maison’s emblematic animal, which is why this new bag pays homage to this feline. Through a radical and graphic design, the bag’s clasp is reinterpreted with the face of a panther. With a minimalist architecture and made of faceted metal by a Haute Joaillerie designer, this touch adds style and personality.

Salvatore Ferragamo: classic handbag trends get a modern makeover

Salvatore Ferragamo returns to its most iconic bags to renew and transform them. The brand’s fall 2022 collection aims to demonstrate that pieces with more casual characteristics can also be made, cared for and paired just as well as more formal garments.

Salvatore Ferragamo presents its Ferragamo Studio, the bucket bag and the new half moon shaped bag.

For handbags, we see the Ferragamo Studio presented in new sizes and materials. With a pressed crocodile-effect embossing, the bag amplifies a casual classicism. It also launches a bucket bag with Gancini closure and studded base. In this case, it is made of grained calf leather and in the colors of the season: ghiacciaio blue, nebbia green, agrifoglio blue, raffia, aghi green and amaretti pink. Finally, a new crescent-shaped bag with a leather-covered chain.

Bulgari launches its new paradise collection: Made in Eden.

Bulgari presents for this autumn-winter 2022 a collection of more intimate dimensions where imagination has no boundaries: Made in Eden. The bags in this line have square and avant-garde shapes, with the snake as the main protagonist.

The brand relaunches its iconic Serpentine Pouch featuring a sensual snake inspired by the Serpenti necklaces of the 1960s. The pouch is crafted from calfskin leather and is offered in small or medium sizes, both with a detachable leather strap. Another star of this collection is the Serpentine Vertical Tote Bag, a tote bag perfect for everyday use. Made with calfskin leather, soft touch and with a dynamic and modern snake handle. It has a leather shoulder strap and is available in black or opal ivory.

The Serpenti Reverse plays with proportions and volumes to create a bulging cloud-shaped bag made of calfskin. The closure is a rhinestone snake head and the accessory comes in two sizes: a more compact one and a larger one. Finally, the Serpenti Forever East-West refreshes the timeless charm of the iconic Serpenti Forever silhouette and becomes a functional bag. With an adjustable, removable strap and classic snake closure, it also incorporates back and front pockets.

Bulgari launches this collection based on the snake animal as a tribute to today’s brave, daring and avant-garde woman. The collection also includes sunglasses, as well as fine jewelry, jewelry and other accessories.

Balmain Blaze: boldness and dramatism

The Balmain brand introduces this season the Blaze bag. The collection it launches is made of leather and with a baroque inspiration, but also modern. This accessory aims to bring heroism and empowerment to the wearer. Olivier Rousteing, the brand’s creative director, was inspired by the bulletproof shields of his favorite childhood superheroes.

The Blaze by Balmain is a bag made to attract attention and bring freshness and strength to any style. The collection consists of long strap bags as well as clutches. The textures and colors vary, although all of them keep the buckles and other technical parts visible and in shiny materials.

Dolce & amp; Gabbana bets on a perfect bag for everyday life

The Dolce & Gabbana brand launches this autumn-winter 2022 season its new DG Logo Bag, a bag with a linear structure that completes its accessories collection. This accessory is available in three different sizes: small, medium and large, as well as in several models: shopper, shoulder and cross-body.

The DG Logo Bag offers versatility and a touch of color to any look.

The DG Logo Bag is made of calfskin leather and its main feature is the logo stitched on the surface with a three-dimensional effect. The bag features an adjustable and removable shoulder strap and is available in different colors: from the most sober ones like white or black to the most eye-catching ones like fuchsia pink or red.

Prada brings together modernity and tradition in its new bag 

Fashion brand Prada has launched its newest creation: Prada Supernova bag, which reflects the brand’s historical and contemporary tradition. With the idea of creating something that gives the vision of not being static, Prada offers this perfect complement for everyday wear.
