With a surprise tasting menu, each dish is prepared with the best seasonal ingredients. Isabella, Alberto, Luca and Raffaele want diners to let themselves go, discovering new flavors and living a unique and memorable gastronomic experience with local products.
United by their passion for cooking and after coinciding in the dining room and kitchen team of the restaurant Caelis (1 Michelin star), the four friends decided to take the leap and open their own restaurant. The pandemic accelerated their plans and so Imprevisto was born, a space in the heart of the Eixample where they offer a unique and personal culinary experience.
Four international talents based in Barcelona
With Isabella Vivarelli at the head of the dining room, Alberto Jaime León as sommelier, has built his cellar with 160 references of which 80% of wines come from small Catalan producers, many of them natural, organic and biodynamic. The 20% from the rest of Spain and international.

They are committed to zero kilometer cuisine and work with local suppliers to guarantee the freshness and quality of their products. There are days that Luca and Raffaele go directly to the Concepció market to choose directly the fruits and vegetables.
A menu that you don’t expect and surprises you
Isabela, Imprevisto’s head waitress, defines her cuisine as “humble, where the ingredient is the protagonist”. This philosophy is reflected in each dish, where they try to surprise diners by taking away their power of decision: to choose what they want to eat.
“Our customers are surprised to discover new flavors and leave with a smile,” says Isabela.
