On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Castañer, this renowned Spanish firm has joined another of equal or greater prestige, Manolo Blahnik, to create a special limited edition collection that will unite the best of each world.
This capsule collection will go on sale online on November 13th, while in physical stores can be found from December as part of the Spring/Summer 2018 pre-collection in the establishments of Castañer, Manolo Blahnik as well as in El Corte Inglés.

The two brands intend to solve a dilemma that we constantly face: heels or flat shoes? Sophistication or comfort? In short, Manolo Blahnik or Castañer? For that reason they have created a collection that unites comfort with a stylizing power and elegance, all in equal parts, and that will be the dream of the most fashionable person.

Two lines: Manolo by Day and Manolo by Night
The collaboration between these two firms is materialized in two lines of differentiated shoes: one for the day and one for the night, Manolo by Day and Manolo by Night. In both, we can find three models of shoes: a flat one and two more with heels up to 7 and 10 centimeters.
Both in the day and night line, there are three different models with different heights.
They are all modified. The flat espadrilles now have a pointy-toe front while the classic wedges change for a thin heel. However, the classic use of the esparto as well as the lace to the ankle is still present, giving rise to a collection reflecting the Mediterranean character, faithful to the timelessness of the classics and embodying contemporary luxury.
What changes between the night and day line are the materials and the colors. In Manolo by Day, jute is kept in its natural tone and is combined with a linen fabric in different tonalities. Meanwhile in Manolo by Night, powerful tones take over the entire piece, resulting in monochromatic pieces in satin.
