In the neighborhood of El Rastro we find El Imparcial, a mansion of 1913 redesigned as a restaurant, bar and concept store, a gastronomic space that occupies the rooms of the old newspaper office bearing the same name and presided place between 1913 and 1933.
The café-restaurant offers a varied menu, a contemporary gastronomic offer which include patatas bravas, croquettes oxtail, Norwegian salmon, sashimi with wakame and wasabi ice cream and pilbil suckling pig tacos with guacamole and lime. The space also offers the possibility of be rented for private events.
El Imparcial boast artists, designers and guests intellectuals participating in formal terms, from editorial material selection and design of a letter, to readings, curated works and artistic actions. In the palace, meetings, exhibitions, cultural and artistic projects and workshops are offered, with audiovisual programming video art, films and shorts. It also has “Mamma Natura”, a meeting place for producers, farmers and consumers of organic products.
In an open room are exposed the cultural and art products for sale. Limited edition accessories, music, books, international magazines, clothes and objects of industrial design. Also you can buy unique pieces of the historical archive of Mahou Cinco Estrellas interpreted by the artist Juan Gatti.
