The Mariott chain, which manages both hotels, will discount up to €100 from the final bill if consumed in bars and restaurants in Barcelona.
Since last Monday, bars and restaurants in Catalonia have been able to reopen after their closure to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This is why the hotel chain Mariott International, which manages two of the most iconic hotels in Barcelona, the Hotel Arts (Carrer de la Marina, 19-21) and the W Barcelona (Plaça Rosa Del Vents 1), has decided to support the restaurant sector.
The initiative involves deducting the cost of a meal at any restaurant in Barcelona from the bills of their guests, up to a maximum value of €100 per room for two people during stays from November 26 to December 10. This amount will be subtracted from the final bill based on the flexible rate of the two hotels. The same package includes free parking and premium Wi-Fi.

This initiative aims to encourage guests to spend in Barcelona’s bars and restaurants, thereby helping to offset the time they had to remain closed due to restriction measures.

Raúl Salcido and Stijn Oyen, general managers of the Hotel Arts and the W Barcelona, respectively, believe that being part of the hotel sector, one of the hardest hit by the pandemic, has greatly influenced the decision to launch this initiative.
