With the eyes turned to the past, fashion moves into the future. This winter, shirts with brocade, ruffles and loops at the neck, reborn in the collections of Chanel, Carolina Herrera or Saint Laurent. The eighteenth-century style, that was trend in the 80s and which emerged from musical groups with New Romantic style, inheritance from the time of Louis XV, resurfaces this winter with a masterful dominion of silk and embroideries on collars, cuffs and sleeves. The spring-summer 2015 continues this trend reinterpreting these shirts, as the Chanel collection, with XXL collars, sleeves and shoulders; or the Miu Miu collection, with crop top shirts, creating an amalgam of garments, styles and prints from diverse decades. The shirt has become an essential of the season, creating a flashback to a past of glitz, elegance and magnificence for man and woman.
