22 years ago Audrey Hepburn, beauty icon and actress of Hollywood’s golden age, passed away.
Two decades after his death, his person continues to fascinate.
The National Portrait Gallery in London has announced a photographic exhibition entitled: “Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an icon“, dedicated to the actress.
Precisely in the same building that now houses the gallery’s archives was, 65 years ago, a famous nightclub called “Ciro’s” where the actress made her debut as a dancer.
Audrey’s sons, Luca Dotti and Sean Ferrer, to celebrate the memory of their beloved mother, have donated 35 photographs from their personal archives to the National Portrait Gallery. The photos to be seen in the exhibition will then be unpublished.
The exhibition will remain open on 2 July until 18 October 2015.
