The British brand Fred Perry invited last year to 150 students from the great London design school Central Saint Martins to launch a study on the suburban cultures that in some way influenced the sadly deceased Amy Winehouse. The result of the study was the creation of four models of the classic Fred Perry polo and bowling pole intended for the foundation that takes the name of the Singer. Students were recognized for their designs were the winning Esme Farehow and their interpretation of the “Rude Boy”, the British Ella Marsh rescuing the subculture of its origins in Leeds with “Dressers”, the South Korean Ha Na Jung playing with movement “Punk” and finally the Japanese Hinako Nakazawa with a particular revision to the “Soul Boys”.
