For the 7 art highlights of July, the CAN Art Fair festival returns to Ibiza, while Menorca hosts the Lazareto Gastro Music Festival. Andorra is also celebrating by hosting the mythical Cirque Du Soleil. The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao offers an insight into the creative world of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. CAN Art Fair comes back to Ibiza to love with more art
For the second consecutive year, the CAN Art Fairwill return to Ibiza this summer. This year the fair will feature 28 international and 7 national galleries, and more than 100 artists from around the world. Among them, the exhibitors with the largest representation come from Hong Kong, London, New York, Los Angeles or Sydney. During the five days of the fair, the event will host collectors, private visits, events, among others.
Renowned galleries hope to exhibit the contemporary art they create, such as 1969 Gallery, from New York, Collaborations, from Copenhagen, Soho Revue, from London, or The Hole, from Los Angeles. Among the local galleries, Ana Mas Projects or Galería Alegría, from Barcelona, or La Bibi Gallery, from Palma de Mallorca. The fair will once again be held at the FECOEV fairgrounds, on the outskirts of Dalt Vila, connecting with the spaciousness and natural light of the area.

Lazareto Festival brings together music and gastronomy at San Felipe Castle
For the second consecutive year, the music and gastronomy festival Lazareto returns to Menorca in the exclusive Castillo de San Felipe. For this second edition, 13 national and international musical legends gather to take the rhythm to the top. Ainhoa Arteta is in charge of opening the festival, closing it with the group Chambao. In addition, the gastronomy of the Catalan chef Paco Pérez will accompany the thirteen evenings. This year Lazareto Gastro & Music Festival changes location to be installed in the grounds of the Castillo de San Felipe, a sixteenth-century fortification, declared Bien de Interés Cultural y Patrimonial, which opens its doors for the first time to the public for the event.
The lineup of guest artists is made up of musical icons of yesterday and today. At the national level, there is the soprano Ainhoa Arteta, who will open the show on the night of July 27, the dancer Sara Baras, Chambao, Antonio Orozco, and Taburete. 10 years of Cirque su Soleil in Andorra
Throughout the month of July, Andorra is celebrating 10 years of Cirque du Soleil in the principality. And for this, the Festa event will take visitors through the circus troupe’s shows. Numbers acrobatic, live music, the magic of the circus and fun. Among the mountains of Andorra an imaginary hotel is created where the bellboy is distracted dreaming of love. Meanwhile, his co-workers set out to create the best party for the hotel’s tenth anniversary.

L’Antiga Farinera brings together classics and new artists
The galleries Bombon, Joan Prats and NoguerasBlanchard come together in Lower Empordà with the exhibition Meridian fantastic spirit. The setting chosen for the show is L’Antiga Farinera, an industrial building in the village of Corçà. Visitors can explore the 11 artists who represent their particular art. Among the artists are works by Joana Escoval, Alfons Borrell, Ludovica Carbotta, Joan Miró or José María Sicilia.
The building, which closed its activity in the thirties, opens this summer as a large gallery, with 500 square meters distributed in eight halls. From the three galleries they emphasize the power to locate the exhibitions away from the bustle of the city in summer time. The poetry is also a central element, with Ángela Segovia in charge of writing texts for each room. In addition, as a novelty, the architecture studio La Base and the publishing house Terranova have been invited to create links between art, design and books.

Yayoi Kusama’s artistic legacy to the world
Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama continues to exhibit her creative explorations, this time at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao through the exhibition Yayoi Kusama: From 1945 to Today. The exhibition revolves around questions and six themes with a great deal of symbolism. With around 200 paintings, sculptures, images in motion, among others, visitors discover from her first paintings as a teenager, during World War II, to her most current works.
The journey begins in the Infinite section, when he took his first steps upon leaving Japan and arriving in the United States in 1957. Josep Font and his view on Cristóbal Balenciaga
The Cristobal Balenciaga Museum kicks off the summer with the exhibition Josep Font. Beauty and restlessness , an anthological exhibition that covers more than twenty years of production of the Catalan designer. His long evolution as a master of fashion and his maturity in the 2010s. Visitors will be able to explore and enjoy some of his best creations of haute couture and pret-a-porter. In addition, Cristóbal Balenciaga’s creations and visions are a point of inspiration for new couturiers, and also establish the relationship between the two of them.
The exhibition, curated by Josep Casamartina i Parasols, exhibits the work of one of the best Spanish designers who has reinterpreted the legacy of the master Balenciaga. Gran Vía Museum: contemporary opening
Finishing the 7 art highlights of July, the city of Madrid is in continuous movement, and one of its last news is the opening of the new space Museo Gran Vía 15. On June 1, it opened its doors with the first exhibition Walking Life, by artist Okuda San Miguel. Throughout the tour, visitors can find a very particular vision of the artist regarding the paths that life takes. The exhibition is a proposal to awaken curiosity, exploring the surrealist world of the artist through colors, sounds and geometric figures.
